Going the distance

I maxed out the treadmill at the gym for the first time ever. 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) in just about 30 minutes.

I celebrated with a Whopper and 2 ice cream sandwiches.

Before the gym, I gave my iPaq to Bong to send to HP. I hope it doesn't take a month like it did the last time. The leather case I got for it last night has given it a new lease of life. Forget the mobile phone community. Smartphones are the way of the future!

Speaking of the future, I'm starting to feel really old. The youngest person at work (Ooi!) is 23 or something ridiculous like that. I was the youngest kid in the office close to 3 years ago and I had my whole life to look forward to. Now all I look forward to is the day my bank account fills up with salary-rific goodness which means it's usually time for 2 things - my monthly haircut and a trip to Comixtra to pick up the latest goodies from Marvel. By the way, I don't even go home and read all my books in one sitting anymore. The comics just lie there in a sad pile, with the exception of Astonishing X-Men (coz Josh Whedon is a sexy mofo and Cyclops has a personality nowadays). He really does put in a cromulent effort as the merry mutants' scribe.

So many decisions to make...so little time to be awake.
